Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
Can the WKK-03S fit an outdoor wood plan when a 300-pound feet-supported oven is acceptable?
Yes. The exact manual lists 291 pounds for the oven on adjustable feet, with a 27 by 36 inch interior. It remains a hand-fired outdoor oven with a 12-foot combustible-clearance requirement; the cart is a separate, heavier setup.
Explore this need in the finder →Can I use the included WKK-03S feet-supported oven if my assembled setup must stay under 250 pounds?
No. WPPO’s manual lists the oven with adjustable feet at 291 pounds; its manual-listed cart version is 360 pounds. That requirement excludes this exact model setup.
Explore this need in the finder →Does the Karma 42 name guarantee a 14-inch pizza fit or a three-pie serving?
No. WPPO publishes a 27 by 36 inch interior but not an exact maximum pizza diameter or simultaneous pie count for WKK-03S. Those numbers must stay unknown rather than being inferred from oven dimensions.
Explore this need in the finder →The WPPO Karma 42 WKK-03S is the largest of these three documented Karma floor sizes: its manual lists a 27 by 36 by 13 inch interior, 972 square inches of cooking area and twelve stone pieces. The oven itself sits on adjustable feet. That wider floor is the main reason to consider it over the Karma 32, but it comes with much greater mass and a larger site-planning commitment.
Measure the exact configuration, not just the model number
WPPO’s current product page lists an exterior body size of 35.5 inches long by 43 wide by 51 high. The WKK-03S manual lists 291 pounds for the oven with adjustable feet. It also lists a separate WKCT-3S cart configuration at 360 pounds, so the cart is not part of the base feet-supported SKU unless a seller’s exact bundle says otherwise. The product-page photo is an official image for the WKK-03S row; it should not be used to assume what accessories or a cart will be supplied.
The dimensions make the footprint measurable, but not the pizza capacity. “42” is the maker’s oven size class, not a guarantee that a 42-inch pizza fits. The manual gives interior dimensions and surface area; the product page does not specify maximum dough diameter or how many pizzas of a stated size fit at once. A 27-by-36 floor is useful evidence for comparing the K42 with the 27-by-27 Karma 32, but exact pie diameter remains unknown. The finder should not count that interior as proof of a 14-inch pie or a specific simultaneous serving number.
The body is described as 304 stainless steel inside and out, with R3 thermal guard insulation, a stainless fire separator, double-wall construction and a woven fire blanket. These are helpful signals for a permanent outdoor kitchen or substantial patio installation. They do not reduce the practical requirements: this is a heavy wood-fired appliance that needs an intentional base, access for delivery, room to maneuver the door and chimney, and a support location appropriate for the listed load.
Wood-fired cooking takes time and attention
The Karma manual’s fuel guidance calls for dry solid medium or hardwood, double split to about 12–16 inches long and 2–5 inches in diameter. Do not use damp or pressure-treated wood, pine or other sappy wood, laminated or chipped wood, driftwood, coal or plywood. The manual advises gradually raising the flame, monitoring the local gauge or an infrared thermometer aimed at the deck, and allowing the floor to reach roughly 500–650°F; 900°F is its maximum. That maximum is a safety limit, not a thermostat range or a promise of a particular bake time.
During cooking, the instructions call for moving the fire to one side, sweeping ash with a brass brush where necessary, and turning the pie frequently with a peel. The oven’s included gauge reports heat rather than regulating it. Nothing on the exact SKU indicates a phone monitor, remote start, gas burner or powered turner. This is a rewarding fit for someone who wants to practice fire and pizza timing, but an awkward choice for a buyer expecting electric presets or hands-free rotation.
Outdoor clearance is a hard condition
WPPO marks this family outdoor-only and requires at least 12 feet between the oven and combustible material in every direction, including overhead. A broad cooking area does not make the oven suitable under a low wooden roof, near siding, or beside foliage. Measure the actual yard before weighing other features. The manual also says to keep a fire extinguisher nearby, wear insulated heat-resistant gloves, avoid overloading firewood, never close the door fully over a burning fire, and let the oven cool below the stated safe temperature before moving or storing it.
Care is similarly specific: do not let water enter through the mouth or chimney; do not ice or wet-mop the floor; use a brass brush for stuck-on food; and maintain the chimney rather than letting soot or creosote accumulate. The instructions recommend an annual sweep. A cover or sheltered storage arrangement can help protect the unit, but any shelter must be compatible with its required operating clearance.
Who is the 42 a fit for?
Choose the WKK-03S when the larger documented floor, wood-fired method and feet-supported base match a stable outdoor location and you can plan for the 291-pound load. If you want an assembled cart, confirm the WKCT-3S package and its 360-pound configuration instead of assuming it comes in the box. If your site, lifting plan or weight limit is tighter, the Karma 32 is smaller and lighter on its feet; the Karma 25 is more compact but lacks the same published interior measurements. Either way, ask WPPO for an exact pizza-size specification before making a diameter requirement essential.
